Gaziantep is known for its baklava and rich culinary tradition; the city was designated a UNESCO City of Gastronomy in 2015. The Zeugma Mosaic Museum houses one of the world’s largest collections of mosaics, including the famous “Gypsy Girl” mosaic excavated from the ancient city of Zeugma. The city is also known for its traditional copperwork craftsmanship.
